What is your Refund Policy?

Answer:

Tour des Îles Refund Policy

1. If there is an error in a reservation which you have just made, we understand. We will
refund your money. Immediately email us at: ssiits@shaw.ca with the reservation
information and when you made it. Pay Pal has an administrative fee of approx. 15 cents
per reservation. We cannot refund that part of the reservation. We sincerely apologize for
this.

2. If there is an error in a reservation which you have just made and want to make an
immediate change, we can do that for you, subject to availability. Immediately email us the particulars at:
ssiits@shaw.ca and we will make the reservation correction for you. Example; you
accidentally reserved an 8:00AM departure and really meant a 10:00AM departure on the
same route.

3. We will refund the full purchase price of any reservation if the vessel for whatever
reason is unable to sail. Please note our lack of control over the Pay Pal administrative
charge. (See #1)

4. In the case that a cancellation is for health and/or family issues beyond
your control, we will refund the ticket price - please give us as early notice as possible, so that we can free up the seat for a different passenger. An email must be sent to: ssiits@shaw.ca
Of course, like all non-profit societies, we gratefully accept donations including cancelled
reservations without a refund. But do advise us, so we can give your seat to another
person. ssiits@shaw.ca

Can we bring dogs and bikes on the boats?

Answer:

Dogs and bikes:
We love dogs and cyclists but some boats can’t accommodate any or many. Check your route below.

Please ensure your dogs are leashed, under control and well behaved. Cyclists don’t need to be leashed…

The vessels between Mayne and Saturna and Pender take two dogs and two bikes.

The vessel between Galiano and Mayne can take three dogs and three bikes.

The vessel between Ganges and Montague, Galiano can take up to twelve bikes and six dogs.

And the vessels between Ganges and Port Washington, Pender are complicated!

Any sailings that leave on the hour (as in 8am, 10am, etc.) are bike capable (3 to 5) and dog capable (3 to 5).

The vessel departures that leave 10 minutes past the hour, 20 minutes past, 40 & 50 minutes past cannot take bikes or dogs).
